MetroGIS has maintained a performance measurement program since 2002. The initial strategy, in place from 2002 to 2008, focused on statistical information derived primarily from log files associated with use of MetroGIS DataFinder. The Version 2 strategy, adopted October 14, 2009, expands upon analysis of DataFinder use statistics to include documenting of public value created by MetroGIS’s efforts from the stakeholders’ perspective and documenting emerging stakeholder needs. This information will, in turn, be used by MetroGIS leadership to ensure that MetroGIS’s efforts remain relevant to changing stakeholder needs and produce results consist with defined outcomes.
