Common Information Needs

Lakes and Wetlands Workgroup

Purpose Top of Page

Define a regional strategy (data specifications and custodial roles and responsibilities) for the collection and management of surface water-related data needed to address common information needs defined by the MetroGIS community, which, to the extent possible, is interoperable with the surface water management strategy of the State of Minnesota.

This effort is part of the MetroGIS hydrologic solution and the ad-hoc workgroup is being staffed by Paul Hanson with Metropolitan Council GIS staff assigned to support MetroGIS activities.
